We are B-O-O-O-O-ket-filling Roadrunners!

Greetings Rio Vista Families,

The month of October brings many changes to the season and it brings many festivities.  October is College Awareness Month, please wear your favorite college t-shirt throughout the month.  October is also Stand-Up-to-Bullying month, if you or anyone you know experiences bullying at school please inform the closes adult, we want to make sure we address all concerns and incidents immediately.  We want Rio Vista to be a bully free school.

This month we will be celebrating: Hispanic Heritage Performance 10/17, Harvest Moon Festival10/26, Physical Fitness with our Play-60 assembly 10/24 and of course we will have lots of fun during our Halloween Parade. 10/31  Parents I thank you for all of your support.

Lastly, parents and staff remember to not drive "intexticated", drive safely in the school zone and respect our wonderful valet drop off volunteers, they work hard to ensure every student is safe.

One of our goals this year is to improve attendance for all students.  Please be at school every day and on time (7:50a.m. or earlier), your attendance matters to your friends, your teacher and me. We want every student to be college and career ready and attendance matters for your success!
