If our students love to read, their reading improves. Our vision is to provide an environment for our students that will motivate and nurture their love of reading. We are dedicated to instilling a lifelong love of books, reading and the library.
Our library is a Wonder of Reading Library, with bright light and inviting interior, additional books, amphitheater and volunteer corps. It is open daily to all classes. Our students come during regularly scheduled times to build their literacy skills through literature and by utilizing the resources to conduct research in content area curriculum.
Student progress in reading is enhanced by Accelerated Reader reading management software providing teachers an effective way to monitor all forms of guided reading practice to ensure success for every student, regardless of reading level.
